Relentless

There’s a super-cheesy, lame-o advertisement for some crazy miracle fat burning pill in a magazine I have (one I won’t buy again due to the overabundance of such advertisements), complete with a glossy photo of a sweaty, hyper-fit workout goddess with no body fat and an amazing ability to not run her ample make-up with her excessive perspiration :)  I think I’m supposed to believe she got her body that way simply by popping a pill, and then I’m supposed to whip out my credit card to buy my own stash of the magic crap, ha ha.Besides being easy to make fun of, though, the ad really did serve a purpose.  One line of the text beside the goddess’ picture says “Be relentless”.

I like “relentless” better than words like “consistent”.  It has a fighter quality that I take a liking to!

So, that is my new motto of the week.  I will be relentless in my pursuit of becoming fitter, stronger, healthier, thinner.  Being relentless means no whining about working out, no mind games to figure out how to squeeze million-calorie treats into my day, no ifs, ands, or buts!

    HI FIVE HON!! HI FIVE!!!

It makes me sick sick sick that advertisers will mislead us like that!

Sadly, just like some of these “DIETS” and quick fixes people will pay for it in HOPES of it working for them.

NO BABY GIRL - you HAVE TO MOVE YOUR ARSE TO LOSE IT AND EAT RIGHT!!!
    NO FREAKIN’ SHORTCUTS!

Sorry MJ, Wildfire is here. :(

    LOVE THE motto.

Relentless is a great way to be. You won’t let anything get in your way!

Those ads and commercials .. I hate them, they insult my intelligence and they try to break you down by telling you that you can’t do it alone. All the more motivation to prove them wrong HA! Be Relentless!!

Love it! Relentless is my word of the day! Also, how I wish it were in a pill!!!!But if it truly were, would we be a nation of fat-asses (myself included)? Ummmm, no.

I have a free subscription to Fitness and I remember seeing ads like that…especially one for Acia berry I think. It really gives me a bad impression of the magazine…
But I like how you turned it around to work for you. Good luck!

I’m like everyone else–relentless is a great push for us–reminds us not to let anything stand in our way!

LOL at the ads–I also used to get tickled at the boflex ads–muscle bound–and they only did it in 20 minutes lmao…right!!!

Glad you posted this…btw, its really scary when people use those pills because you never know how that stuff is effecting your internal organs and many people have died from that stuff in pursuit of a thinner waistline….its not worth it to me
