Two and a Half Pounds Gone!
Amazingly, I managed to lose 2 and 1/2 pounds this week. It’s been a stressful, busy, and hectic week, and I fully expected to have packed on another pound or two, so the scale gave me a pleasant surprise this morning. For once I didn’t want to whip it out the window, sling it into a dumpster, or douse it with gasoline and light it up.
Earlier this week, Gary found a newborn kitten, barely a day old, soaking wet and lying in a ditch. We quickly learned to bottle-feed a kitten and soon after learned that kittens need fed every 1-2 hours. Bye bye, sleep! There hasn’t been a spare minute to myself, but my goal for next week is to schedule in “me” time and fit in some workouts, no matter what else is going on and no matter how scatter-brained or exhausted I feel.

And Awww on the kittens! I have had to bottle feed allot of kittens…. and just so you know (this is going to sound nasty) you need to take a wash cloth to the bum ( the mama cat licks the bum to get the poopy out) This doesnt ALWAY need to be done but I have lost a few kittens because they could not go poopy by them selfs!

Lisa, I had no idea until the vet told me that when I bought the kitten formula! I’m glad I asked the vet for advice.
